Job Description
Wild Flour Bakery is a growing artisan, wholesale bread and pastry bakery located in the Upper Holmesburg section of Philadelphia. We are currently looking to hire for the following position:
Baker Position
This position is for a bread or pastry production person. This individual would preferably have previous baking/food preparation experience. Students are welcome to apply. Ideal candidate would pick-up tasks quickly, be reliable, work quickly and efficiently, have experience working with yeasted doughs and/or pastries, be able to lift at least 50lbs, be comfortable on your feet for at least 8 hours, and possess strong communication skills. The bakery gets extremely hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. Please keep in-mind this job is very physically demanding. Hours initially available are second-shift, part-time.
You must have reliable transport (we are 20 approx minutes from Center City, SEPTA from Center City takes about an hour). Prior experience in a similar position is required.
