Sales Trainee

McLean Packaging is a designer and manufacturer of corrugated packaging and displays for retail and eCommerce. The packaging industry has never been more promising. The rise of e-commerce has created many opportunities and retail continues to flourish.

We are looking for a college graduate who would like to learn our company, our industry, the retail landscape and how to create solutions driven strategies to help our customer's brands win with their customers and help make their supply chains operate more efficiently.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who is a self-starter, energetic, open-minded, and willing to learn multiple aspects of our business to transition into a promising Sales Representative position.

Our training program includes:

- Starting in a Project Manager role to learn how our company's processes and operation works 
- Learning design techniques for creating packaging and merchandising displays
- Develop an understanding of how corrugated paper is manufactured and converted through printing, die-cutting and gluing
- Understanding the retailers expectations and requirements
- Exposure to our other divisions for Folding Carton and Rigid Packaging
- Cold Calling techniques and execution
- How to develop the right prospect list and strategies for solutions based selling
- Exposure to customer meetings and calls
- An in-person work experience
