Job Description
Be Well Counseling is seeking motivated individuals to join our administrative support team. Candidates should have at least 1 year administrative experience, preferably in a (mental) healthcare setting. Must possess excellent customer service skills and lead with empathy and understanding in working with children, teens, adults, and families in a mental health environment.
Candidates must have a positive attitude, be reliable, comfortable multitasking, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google suite.
Basic Job Duties:
Greet and assist clients and visitors who enter the office
Answer phones, emails, google text/voice messages in timely manner
Check clients in, run copays, schedule new/followup appointments
Assist and coordinate with providers
Update, scan, file medical records
Maintain and update spreadsheets
Update new/current client information in various systems
Coordinate with biller for insurance verification
Office projects as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in an office ***Mental healthcare/medical office experience preferred**
Excellent communication/customer service skills
Must be a team player
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Minimum High School Diploma, BA preferred
Candidates must be fully vaccinated (2 shots, plus 1 booster) for COVID 19 per NJ State regulations for Behavioral Healthcare facilities
Wage: 15-17/hr DOE
Hours needed:
Mon/Tues/Thurs 3-8pm
Saturday 7:45am-2pm
